Haniyeh: We offered all possible flexibility, and any agreement that does not guarantee an end to the aggression is rejected
The head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, said after the martyrdom of his sister and her family as a result of the occupation’s bombing of Gaza City, that “if the criminal enemy thinks that targeting my family and my family will change our positions and our resistance, then he is delusional because every martyr in Gaza and Palestine is from my family and my family.” .
He added, "I repeat again and again and again that the martyrs of my family are the martyrs of our people, and the martyrs of our people are also my family. There is no difference between the martyrs, all of whom were chosen by the Most Gracious to worship our path toward victory and freedom."
Haniyeh continued, "The blood of the martyrs demands that we not compromise, that we do not compromise, that we do not change, that we do not change, that we weaken and despair, but rather that we continue on our path with all determination."
He touched on the ceasefire proposal by saying, "The movement has provided all possible flexibility and agreed without hesitation to all the projects that were proposed, provided that the result of this is a cessation of crimes, an end to the aggression, and a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip."
Haniyeh stressed, "We still maintain that any agreement that does not guarantee a ceasefire and an end to the aggression is a rejected agreement, and our position will not change at any stage."
He pointed out that "the enemy chose to escalate and invaded Rafah, closed the crossings, and caused humanitarian disasters and a terrible famine throughout the Strip."
Haniyeh concluded his statement by saying, "The international community is required to take action to stop the aggression, bring in aid, and provide the necessities of life for our people and our people. All ideas about the next day and internal house arrangements must be purely Palestinian, and no one has the right to interfere in them, neither the occupation nor anyone else."
