For the third time in a row...Israel extends the detention ofJournalist Rasha Harzallah
The Israeli occupation military court in Salem extended for the third time, today, Monday, the detention of Rasha Harzallah, a journalist colleague at the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), until next August 11.
The Prisoner's Club stated that a new session was held today, Monday, for our colleague Harzallah in the occupation court in Salem, during which her detention was extended until 8/11/2024.
Raed Mahameed, a lawyer for the Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, said that the court decided to extend it until August 11 under the pretext of completing “judicial procedures.”
It is noteworthy that a court session was held for our colleague Rasha on June 10, which in turn decided to extend her detention for two weeks.
The occupation intelligence summoned our colleague Harzallah on the second of this month for investigation in the “Huwara” prison for what he claims was incitement. Her detention was extended at that time for a period of 72 hours, and then for five days, and she was transferred to the “Damoun” prison, where the majority of the Female captives.
