Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed the need to immediately prevent massacres committed by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Turkish President said during an event of the Justice and Development Party on the occasion of Eid al-Adha: “Another sad Eid for the Palestinian people, who have been subjected for 76 years to occupation, injustice, and systematic genocide.”

He pointed to the vileness of the Israeli administration, which caused “the martyrdom of 38,000 of our brothers,” in a scene that “breaks all of our hearts.”

He added: "The world must take measures against Israel's bloodthirstiness and immediately prevent the massacres, of which we witness a new one every day."

Erdogan reiterated his emphasis on the need to stop the Netanyahu administration, "which is setting fire to the entire region, including its citizens, in order to prolong its political life."

He added: "We are doing our utmost to ensure the victory of the resistance of our Palestinian brothers who are defending their lands and paying heavy prices for their rights and freedoms."

He stressed that they will not remain silent regarding the tragedies in Gaza and other parts of the Islamic world.
