Israel arrests 20 Palestinins from the West Bank

Yesterday and today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 20 citizens from the West Bank, including a woman from Jerusalem, in addition to former prisoners.


The Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club explained in a statement that the arrests were distributed across the governorates of Jenin, Nablus, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jerusalem.


During the arrest operations, the occupation continues to carry out severe beatings and threats against detainees and their families, vandalize and destroy citizens’ homes, and detain family members as hostages.


It is noteworthy that the total number of arrests after October 7 reached more than (8,975), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.


It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes those who were kept in detention by the occupation and those who were later released.
