The Israeli army confirms the withdrawal of its forces from eastern Jabalia in northern Gaza
Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee confirmed the withdrawal of army forces from eastern Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip after “completing their mission.”
Adraee said, in a statement on the “X” website, that the 98th Division “completed its mission east of Jabalia, and withdrew in preparation for the subsequent stages of the fighting in the Gaza Strip.”
Adraee claimed that the squad recovered 7 bodies of detainees held by the Hamas movement, and eliminated hundreds of fighters, according to Adraee.
Israeli Channel 14 said on Friday that the occupation army had ended its military operations in the Jabalia camp after several weeks of violent fighting.
Press sources from northern Gaza reported that medical teams found a large number of bodies among the alleys, and they were being transported to Kamal Adwan Hospital.
The sources indicated that medical teams recovered a number of martyrs in the Beit Lahia project and the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and that Israeli forces withdrew from Jabalia camp, Tal al-Zaatar, the Beit Lahia project, Madinat Zayed, and Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.
