The Minister of Finance, Omar Al-Bitar, and the Head of the Norwegian Representative Office in Palestine, Tor Neviste, signed an agreement to support the health sector with the equivalent of $10 million provided by Norway.

The Minister of Health, Majed Abu Ramadan, said during the event organized today, Monday, in the city of Ramallah, under the patronage and in the presence of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Muhammad Mustafa, that the agreement is dedicated to purchasing medicines and medical consumables, and also to support the treatment of thousands of patients in East Jerusalem hospitals, which are considered the first line of the Ministry. the health.

He expressed his thanks to the Norwegian government, the Norwegian people and the representative office for all the support they provided and are providing, and for their quick response.

For her part, Visti said that the signing of this agreement aims to support the health sector in light of these difficult conditions, and is in line with Palestinian priorities, and support will continue in order to build the institutions of the Palestinian state.
