The Hamas movement issued a statement today, Friday, in which it said that the pier built by the United States off the Gaza Strip is not an alternative to opening all land crossings under Palestinian supervision, and added that it rejects any military presence of “any force” on the Palestinian territories.

The movement stressed in a statement the right of the Palestinian people to receive all the aid they need in light of the humanitarian catastrophe they face due to the Israeli aggression.

The statement also indicated that “any route for bringing in aid, including the water terminal, is not an alternative to opening all land crossings under Palestinian supervision.”

Special footage obtained by Al-Ghad showed the start of receiving humanitarian aid through the pier built by the United States off the coast of Gaza.

Earlier on Friday, the government media office in Gaza said that the floating dock off the coast of Gaza does not cover the Palestinians’ need for food, calling for the opening of land crossings and the entry of aid immediately and urgently.
