The delegation of the Arab-China Relations Commission, under the guidance of Abbas Zaki, member of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement and the Commissioner-General for Arab-China Relations, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, Comrade Zeng Jichen, yesterday morning at the embassy headquarters in Ramallah. The delegation was headed by Bassam Zakarneh, member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, who He visited China at the invitation of the Foreign Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and as members of Ali Mishal, Assistant Commissioner-General of the People’s China Department of the Commission, Commission Advisor Ismail Al-Talawi, and Director of Public Relations Hiyam Barbar.

During the meeting, Zakarneh praised the principled position of China and its party towards the justice of the Palestinian issue, and its efforts to achieve a ceasefire and stop the genocide and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza. He appreciated China’s role through the initiatives of Chinese leader Xi Jinping that aim to correct the historical injustice of the Palestinian people and hold the international peace conference to achieve the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Zakarneh praised China's experience in comprehensive development in the economic, health, educational and technological fields, and the tangible results of China's scale of development at all levels, and its pursuit of mutual benefit for all peoples, including a wise and balanced foreign policy towards international conflicts, to achieve international justice, peace and security.

Zakarneh, who headed the delegation of Arab parties that recently visited China, spoke praising the creative ideas of the Chinese Communist Party, the nucleus of which was leader Xi Jinping, regarding socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and its success in confronting the challenges facing the Chinese people.

The delegation spoke about the extent of great development witnessed by the autonomous region of Xinjiang, which is inhabited by Uyghurs and enjoys governance. The delegation refuted the misleading accusations made by the United States against the Chinese government by accusing China of committing acts of oppression against its Muslim population, and said that Xinjiang enjoys support and support from the Chinese government more than any other. From other provinces.

The delegation appreciated the role of the People's Republic of China in hosting the delegations of the Fatah and Hamas movements to achieve national reconciliation.

The Chinese ambassador, in turn, expressed his country's support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and said that China will continue to provide its political support to the Palestinian leadership in the UN Security Council, the United Nations, and all specialized agencies of the United Nations, stressing that China will continue its efforts to hold the international peace conference under the auspices of the United Nations which will lead to the resolution of most of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the establishment of a just peace in the Middle East region, which is represented by the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Chinese ambassador indicated that China's efforts will continue to sponsor the Palestinian-Palestinian dialogue, which will take place during the next two months until comprehensive Palestinian national unity is achieved.
