Al-Quds sources: Hamas agrees to the Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire
Sources told Al-Quds that the position of the resistance movement (Hamas), which was formed after discussions with Palestinian factions, holds great hopes for reaching an agreement within days.
The sources said that if there is greater Israeli flexibility and the unified Palestinian position does not require a permanent ceasefire at the beginning of the talks, especially since the resistance still holds the cards for greater power regarding the identity of some of its captured officers who are still alive.
The sources hoped that at the end of the new week, the agreement that all parties are currently seeking may be formed.
Al-Sharq Channel: Hamas will announce in the coming hours its approval of the Egyptian deal
Al-Sharq Channel said that in the last hours there are frequent communications between Egypt, Qatar, and the Palestinian and Israeli delegations regarding the number of prisoners that will be released.
According to the channel, there are American assurances to Hamas of a sustainable cessation of war, that is, a ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal in the third phase of the agreement, which means that the Israeli army will not return to Gaza.
Al Jazeera said that a Qatari delegation will head to Cairo today to participate in discussions on a prisoner exchange deal between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel in the latest round of negotiations in which the administration of US President Joe Biden and Egypt will also participate, which is expected to begin today with the aim of a ceasefire in Gaza.
