Erdogan: We closed the door to trade with Israel
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country closed the door to trade with Israel and considered the bilateral trade volume of $9.5 billion “non-existent.”
He pointed out in statements after Friday prayers, “Israel has so far killed 40,000 - 45,000 Palestinians with all brutality, and as Muslims it is unreasonable for us to remain passive in the face of what is happening.”
He pointed out that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "merciless, and he showed this on children, women and the elderly" in Gaza.
He added, "The entire West works for the benefit of Israel, led by the United States of America."
