A psychological war entitled: Israeli threat and American pressure

The pace of psychological warfare waged by Israel and the pressure exerted by the United States, which is coordinating all steps within the framework of what can be called the chaos of news and statements coming from all sites, has increased.

Netanyahu continues under pressure from the extreme right, represented by the threat of storming Rafah, while US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stipulated for him during his short visit yesterday to refrain from the Rafah operation temporarily, on the grounds that it will harm normalization relations with Saudi Arabia, while Netanyahu hinted that Entry into Rafah will take place even if an exchange deal is reached, but he retracted this statement under explicit American pressure.

The tone of threats rose during the meeting of Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant with Blinken at the Kerem Shalom crossing and Kibbutz Nir Oz, where he said that the necessary military operations in Rafah would be carried out, while Blinken reiterated the United States’ position that Hamas must accept the exchange deal. Yesterday evening, the Chief of Staff appeared. Herzi Halevy continues the series of threatening episodes by saying that Israel is preparing an attack on the north, in addition to expanding the attack in Gaza in order to allow the return of settlers and the return of detainees...

These statements come within the framework of psychological warfare, because what is happening on the ground contradicts them and is not completely consistent with them. Israel realizes that restoring those detained by the resistance in the Gaza Strip by force and eliminating Hamas activists will not bear fruit, and that a war on the north is out of the question, but the Chief of Staff made this statement while he is aware of the efforts. France in order to reach an agreement regarding the battle with Hezbollah.

At a time when the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing was opened yesterday evening for the first time since the seventh of last October for aid to enter the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the visit of US Secretary of State Blinken to some crossings and settlements in the south, the Israeli media war continues in addition to the American pressure from While hinting that Hamas is the one who rejects the exchange deal, in an attempt to hold it responsible and place the burden on it as Israel wants, in reality it is Israel that is obstructing the exchange deal and refuses to clearly implement what was stated in the Egyptian proposals paper and is trying to circumvent the terms contained in this paper, It is betting that Hamas will reject the deal, but the latter said that it is still discussing the Egyptian proposals and will respond to them soon (today, Thursday or tomorrow, Friday), to block the path to Israel and the United States together..

The expanded political and security cabinet will meet this evening to await Hamas’ response and take the next step regarding Rafah. Until this moment, it is not possible, due to this media chaos and psychological war of statements, to ascertain the facts and where things will go. But it is clear that this psychological war waged by Israel only affects... The psychology of its audience, especially the families of the detainees, who are begging to stop the war. Netanyahu is also playing with all the cards, trying to please the right-wing leaders and gain the trust of the Americans. However, he will not be able to satisfy the majority of Israelis, so a war of nerves and psychology will be reflected in Israel, while the resistance will emerge victorious in the face of all this chaos, regardless of the results it obtains. Military and political in all fields
