Occcupied Jerusalem: Dozens of Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Today, Monday, settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, on the seventh day of the Jewish Passover.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that more than 200 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, from the direction of the Mughariba Gate, and carried out provocative rounds and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.

The Israeli occupation police tightened their military measures at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers.

The organizations of the alleged temple called for massive incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, to offer a “sacrifice” during the Jewish Passover.

The Israeli occupation authorities exploit Jewish holidays and events to restrict citizens and impose collective punishments against them, by closing checkpoints and tightening military measures on them, impeding the movement of citizens and preventing them from reaching holy places, while facilitating settlers’ incursions into Palestinian cities, and Islamic and archaeological shrines in the West Bank. Especially the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
