A number of deaths as a result of the Israeli bombing of three homes in Rafah, while battles rage in central Gaza

6 Palestinians were killed and others were injured, including women and children, in Israeli raids that targeted 3 homes and agricultural land in different areas of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, amid intensifying battles in central Gaza and warnings of complete famine in the Strip.

Five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house for the Al-Jamal family housing displaced people in the Al-Jeneina neighborhood, east of Rafah, and others were injured to varying degrees as a result of the bombing of a house in the Musabah area, north of the city.

An Israeli raid caused material damage to agricultural land in the Khirbet Al-Adas area, north of Rafah.

A Palestinian was killed and a number of others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Yabna camp and agricultural land sheltering displaced people nearby in the Shaboura camp in central Rafah.

In the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian woman was killed and 5 others were injured after the Israeli occupation forces targeted a house belonging to the Ali family in the Al-Dawa area, north of Nuseirat.

Ambulance teams transported a number of injured people to Al-Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, while the body of the dead and a number of other wounded people were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.

The pace of Israeli raids in Rafah has recently increased, with Tel Aviv insisting on invading the city, claiming to confront the last stronghold of the Hamas movement, despite increasing international warnings of catastrophic repercussions, in light of the presence of about 1.4 million displaced people there.

On Wednesday, the official Hebrew Broadcasting Authority said that the Israeli army is preparing to invade the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, very soon.

Bodies recovered

The Gaza Civil Defense announced that the bodies of 18 dead were recovered on Wednesday from the mass grave in the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.

The Civil Defense added that the total number of dead recovered from the mass grave has risen to 342 so far.

The Civil Defense had announced the discovery of 3 mass graves inside the Nasser Medical Complex.

For his part, the Israeli army spokesman said that the claim that the army buried the bodies of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip is completely untrue.

However, European Commission spokesman for foreign affairs Peter Stano expressed the Commission's deep concern about the mass graves revealed in Gaza. He called for an independent investigation in order to achieve the required accountability.

Battles rage

Battles are raging in the areas of the central Gaza Strip. The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they bombed the Israeli forces penetrating east of the Juhr al-Dik area, in the central Gaza Strip, with mortar shells.

Clashes took place between the resistance and the Israeli occupation army north of the Nuseirat camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army said that forces from the Nahal Brigade continue their operations in the corridor separating the northern, central and southern Gaza Strip.
