Commissioner for Human Rights: We are horrified by reports of mass graves in Gaza
United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, said on Tuesday that he was horrified by the destruction of the Nasser and Shifa hospitals in the Gaza Strip, as well as reports of the presence of mass graves there.
Türk, in a speech before the United Nations delivered by a spokesman on his behalf, denounced the Israeli strikes on Gaza in the past few days, most of which he said were victims of women and children.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights renewed his warning against the Israeli incursion into the city of Rafah, saying that it may lead to more heinous crimes.
During the past three days, rescue and ambulance crews recovered the bodies of 310 martyrs from three mass graves in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
In an infinite toll, the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip rose to 34,183, and injuries to 77,143 since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on the seventh of last October.
