"Gaza Health" appeals to provide generators for hospitals
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza renewed its appeal to relevant institutions to provide generators to hospitals to avoid a health disaster, while the World Food Program warned that famine was looming in some parts of the Strip.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement, “After 193 days of aggression against Gaza, there is a great fear that the electricity generators that worked at full capacity around the clock in hospitals will stop,” stressing that evidence indicates that the generators can stop at any moment, which leads to “ "Health disaster."
The Ministry of Health also announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 33,797 deaths and 76,465 injured, in light of the ongoing destruction, noting that ambulance and civil defense crews were facing difficulties in rescuing the injured and those under the rubble.
