A number of citizens were killed and injured, Thursday evening, in an Israeli bombing that targeted a market in the Nuseirat camp and another in Gaza City.

According to local sources, at least 6 citizens were killed and 20 others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted the popular Firas Market in Gaza City, while civil defense teams are working to recover other martyrs and wounded who are still under the rubble.

The sources explained that the Israeli aircraft targeted the popular Firas market with at least two missiles, destroying facilities, commercial interests, and vendors’ stalls, and causing significant damage to the market.

A number of citizens were also killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing on a similar market in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

This afternoon, 6 citizens were killed and others were injured in the ongoing occupation bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip.

In Gaza City, two citizens were killed when the Israeli army bombed a house for the Al-Batsh family in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City, while two others were martyred after an Israeli reconnaissance plane targeted a house in the Jabalia camp, north of the Strip.

In addition, medical sources reported that two citizens were killed and others were injured in the intense Israeli bombardment on the northern areas of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, on the city of prisoners northwest of Nuseirat, and in the vicinity of the Salhi Towers.

The Israeli forces intensified their raids on the Nuseirat camp, targeting a residential apartment and a school north of the camp, which led to the death of 5 citizens, bringing the death toll since this morning in Nuseirat to 7 citizens.

Eight citizens were also killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing near the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

In this context, health sources announced that 63 citizens were killed and 45 injured during the past 24 hours.

The Israeli army announced that it had begun a surprise military operation in the center of the Gaza Strip.

In a non-final toll, medical sources announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip, since October 7, had risen to 33,545, the majority of whom were women and children, and the number of injured to 76,094.
