The American newspaper added that satellite images show that the road leading to the Erez-Beit Hanoun crossing from the Gaza side is still blocked by rubble and potholes.
For its part, Save the Children said that not a single truck passed through the Beit Hanoun crossing despite Israel declaring it open.
In the same context, Israeli Channel 12 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not fulfill the promise he made to US President Joe Biden to open the port of Ashdod to aid to Gaza.

In this context, Israeli media said that the army is establishing a new aid crossing under the pretext of avoiding opening the Erez crossing for fear that it will be closed by Israeli demonstrators who refuse to bring aid into the Strip.
“Flooding” Gaza with aid
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant spoke yesterday about plans to “flood” the Gaza Strip with aid by opening a new land crossing and the port of Ashdod, claiming that they plan to increase the volume of aid to 500 trucks per day, which is the number of trucks that were entering the Strip before the war, according to the United Nations. United.
