Half a year after the Gaza War: Israel continues the massacres and destruction in the Strip
On Sunday, the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip ended its sixth month in a row, as the aggression against the Gaza Strip continued on the 184th day amid raids and artillery shelling carried out by the Israeli army on various areas in the Gaza Strip, causing dozens of martyrs during the past 24 hours.
The toll of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, rose to 33,175 killed and 75,886 wounded, after Israel committed 4 massacres, including 38 killed and 71 injured, according to what the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday.
For the first time since the beginning of the ground maneuver, all Israeli forces left the Gaza Strip tonight, as the 98th Division withdrew with its three brigades from Khan Yunis after the end of the operation there after four months of fighting, and the “Nahal” Brigade remained, which is responsible for securing the “Netzerim Corridor” to prevent the residents of Gaza from returning to the northern Gaza Strip. According to what was reported by Israeli Army Radio.
Israeli Army Radio reported that 5 missiles were launched towards the settlements surrounding Gaza, while Iron Dome intercepted part of them, hours after the army withdrew from Khan Yunis.
The official Israeli radio, Kan-Reshet Bet, reported that the 162nd Division also remained in the Strip.
Four members of the Israeli army, including a captain and three soldiers from the Commando Brigade, were killed in battles in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, on Saturday afternoon, according to what the Israeli army spokesman said on Sunday.
This brings the number of Israeli army deaths announced by 604 officers and soldiers since the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, last October 7, including 264 killed in ground battles inside Gaza.
