Occupied Jerusalem: 150 thousand worshipers perform night prayers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque

On Friday evening, about 150,000 worshipers performed the evening and Tarawih prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The Islamic Endowments Department said that about 150,000 worshipers performed Isha and Tarawih prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict Israeli measures preventing the entry of thousands of citizens from the West Bank, and preventing hundreds of young Jerusalemites from praying in the mosque.

The Israeli forces were deployed at the gates of Al-Aqsa and in the Old City, and searched a number of young men and checked their identities, coinciding with the arrival of worshipers to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

A number of those deported from Al-Aqsa Mosque performed prayers on the Mujahideen Road near Lions Gate, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
