The death toll rose to 30.. A child died in Kamal Adwan Hospital due to famine

Medical sources announced today, Thursday, the death of a child due to famine and the lack of treatment, bringing the number of victims of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip to 30 citizens.

The same sources said that a child died as a result of malnutrition, dehydration, and lack of medical supplies, at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Strip has been subjected to continuous Israeli aggression, since October 7, and has been subjected to extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, amounting to famine, in light of the severe scarcity of food, water, medicine, and fuel supplies.

As a result of the war, citizens, especially the Gaza and northern governorates, are on the verge of famine, with about two million Palestinians displaced from their homes in the Strip, which has been besieged by Israel for 17 years.

The Israeli authorities continue to prevent and obstruct the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, especially to the northern regions, while the aid that reaches the south of the Strip does not suffice the needs of citizens, especially with the displacement of more than 1.3 million citizens from northern Gaza to its south, specifically to Rafah.

The Israeli forces not only prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, but also deliberately target citizens while they are waiting for this aid to arrive, resulting in the death and injury of hundreds.
