A Euro-Med report documents Israel’s continued violation of the “International Justice” resolution

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reported that Israel did not abide by the decision of the International Court of Justice throughout the two-month period following its issuance, and continued to carry out the crime of genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip continuously since the seventh of last October.

This came in a new report issued by Euro-Med on Monday, entitled “Two months after the International Court of Justice’s decision on Gaza: an increase in genocide and an absence of accountability.”

In the report, the Center presented the evidence and observations it documented about Israel continuing to commit various forms of the crime of genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and compared it to what was stated in the six precautionary measures ruled by the International Court of Justice.

The Euro-Med Monitor said that the decision of the International Court of Justice, issued on January 26, obligated Israel to take specific precautionary measures to prevent the commission of the crime of genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

It added that the decision came after the court found a reasonable basis to believe that the acts committed by Israel were indeed likely to amount to the commission of the crime of genocide, according to the definition contained in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

The report indicated that, after the work of the Euro-Med team, it has become clear that Israel has not adhered at all to this resolution, has violated most of the precautionary measures contained therein, and has continued to carry out the crime of genocide at the same pace that preceded the resolution, by committing various forms and acts of genocide with intent. Destroying the Palestinians in their national and ethnic capacity.
