A settler opened fire from a speeding vehicle towards a group of citizens near the town of Salfit, on Sunday afternoon, claiming that they had thrown stones at vehicles traveling on the main road.

According to Israeli media, initial information received by the security services indicated that a shooting attack was carried out from a speeding vehicle towards settler vehicles.

However, after the initial investigation, it became clear that a settler opened fire while traveling in his speeding vehicle towards a group of Palestinians, who then threw stones at the vehicles, as he claimed.

The website of the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that after reports of a shooting attack carried out from a passing vehicle between the "Emmanuel" Junction and the "Yakir" Junction in the West Bank, it became clear that an Israeli resident opened fire from his vehicle at the stone-throwers, and no injuries occurred, as the incident is being investigated.
