The government media office in Gaza announced today, Saturday, the death of 23 Palestinians and the injury of 23 others who were waiting for aid near the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City as a result of an Israeli bombing.

The media office added that members of the Israeli army, in addition to tanks, opened fire with machine guns at the citizens who were waiting for bags of flour and aid in a remote place that did not pose a threat to the occupation, as part of the martyrs arrived at the Baptist Hospital, and a number of them remained with their bodies lying on the ground.

The office held the American administration, the international community, and Israel fully responsible for the crime of genocide, and the war of starvation and famine that is deepening in the Gaza Strip, especially against 700,000 citizens in the Gaza and North governorates, and for the massacres and crimes they commit against civilians, children, and women on a daily basis.

He called on the countries of the world to put pressure on the occupation, in order to stop the war of genocide and ethnic “cleansing” that it is waging against the Palestinians, and to stop the famine immediately before it is too late.

The office called for the opening of the land crossings and the immediate entry of hundreds of thousands of tons of aid accumulated at the land crossings to our Palestinian people.

Civil Defense spokesman in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, said: “The crime series is still continuing until this moment. The Israeli forces have opened heavy fire on citizens, and the injuries are very serious, and there are also people injured by shrapnel.”

On the other hand, the Israeli army denied shooting at the crowd that was waiting for aid near the Kuwait roundabout, saying that these reports are incorrect.
