The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate confirmed that the Israeli army continues to target Palestinian journalists for the purpose of killing, in light of its attempt to kill the truth in the context of the genocide to which the Palestinian people in general and our people in the Gaza Strip in particular are exposed.

The union explained, in a statement, this evening, Sunday, that according to the monitoring of the union’s Freedoms Committee, on the 100th day of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, and with the rise of our colleague, Al-Ghad Al-Arabi channel photographer Yazan Zweidi, the number of killed has reached 112journalist, including 14 female colleagues.

It pointed out that, in light of the scale of the terrifying and ferocious attack on the Palestinian journalistic situation, journalists in the Gaza Strip are living in extremely complex and difficult conditions that are at risk of death, not only for themselves but also for their families, of whom Israel has killed hundreds.

The union warned against the attempts of Israel and its arms to falsify, adapt and fabricate charges against journalists, with false accusations for the purpose of justifying murder and to challenge in the future any international judicial prosecution to hold them accountable for these crimes, stressing the continuation of pursuing politicians and officers of the occupation in all available forums, so that they do not escape punishment.
