Euro-Med Observatory: 100,000 casualties in 100 days of war on Gaza
On Sunday, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory revealed shocking numbers resulting from 100 days of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, noting that “100,000 Palestinians were killed and injured.”
The Observatory said in a statement, “There are 100,000 Palestinians killed, wounded and missing on the 100th day of the Israeli genocide against the Gaza Strip.”
It added, "Israel committed horrific war crimes that killed an average of 1,000 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip every day, in the bloodiest statistic in the modern history of wars."
It continued, "About 92% of the victims in Gaza were civilians, including 12,345 children, 6,471 women, 295 health workers, 41 civil defense members, and 113 journalists."
According to the Observatory, “two million and 955 thousand Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes and residential areas in the Gaza Strip, without the availability of safe shelter for them, meaning 85% of the total population.”
It accused Israel of "deliberately destroying and causing serious damage to infrastructure facilities in the Gaza Strip, and making it an uninhabitable area for residents."
The Observatory stated that "its attacks did not exclude health facilities, schools, mosques and churches."
By today, Sunday, the bloody war on the Gaza Strip will complete 100 days, after it had begun on October 7, 2023, amid a state of Palestinian and international anticipation for achieving “international justice and punishing Israel for its crimes.”
As of yesterday, Saturday, the Israeli war on Gaza had left 23,843 killed and 60,317 injured, according to the Gaza Strip authorities and the United Nations.
