West Bank: Israeli forces launch arrest campaign in different cities
The Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 28 citizens from the West Bank, including former prisoners, from yesterday evening until Thursday morning.
The arrests were concentrated in the Jenin Governorate, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus, Tulkarm, Jericho, and Jerusalem.
In addition, the occupation forces continue to carry out widespread raids and abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes, and confiscation of money and vehicles.
Thus, the total number of arrests after October 7 of last year rose to about (5,810), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
Note that the ongoing and escalating arrest campaigns in an unprecedented manner come within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against our people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, after October 7, which targeted all groups in an unprecedented manner.
