The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed 13 massacres in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, leaving 156 killed and 246 injured.

Al-Qudra announced, in a press statement received by the Palestinian Information Center, that the death toll since the beginning of the aggression on October 7 had risen to 21,978 killed and 57,697 injured.

He also pointed out that 326 health personnel were martyred and 104 ambulances were destroyed and put out of service since the beginning of the aggression.

According to Al-Qudra, the occupation deliberately targeted 150 health institutions in the Gaza Strip, and put 30 hospitals out of service, and the occupation continues to arrest 99 Palestinian health personnel in inhumane conditions.

He continued his speech by saying: “We are working to restart hospitals in northern Gaza,” adding, “We are discussing with international institutions the restart of health centers in various regions of the Strip.”

He issued a call to international institutions to work immediately to protect the health system and its staff in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to send medical teams and field hospitals to meet the enormous need.

The Ministry of Health spokesman noted that there are 1.9 million displaced people in the Gaza Strip, and they are vulnerable to famine and the spread of epidemics.
