Poll: The majority of American youth and women do not support Israel's war on Gaza
A poll by the American Gallup Research Company revealed, on Sunday, that the majority of American young men and women do not support the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian Gaza Strip.
1,013 Americans participated in the poll conducted by Gallup last November.
The poll stated that 52 percent of women do not support the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
44 percent view the attacks as “justified.”
Also, 67 percent of participants between the ages of 18 and 34 oppose the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
According to the results, 50 percent of the survey participants support the Israeli attacks on Gaza, while 45 percent do not support them.
The poll also revealed that 71 percent of Republicans participating in the poll support the Israeli attacks, and 23 percent of them oppose.
While 63 percent of Democratic participants in the poll do not support the Israeli attacks on Gaza, and 36 percent do.
On the other hand, 59 percent of men support the attacks on Gaza, while 37 percent of them oppose them.
According to the poll, 61 percent of “white” Americans support the Israeli attacks on Gaza, and 36 percent of them reject them.
Regarding the other ethnicities participating in the survey, 64 percent of them disapprove of the attacks, and 30 percent support the attacks.
67 percent of participants expressed their satisfaction with the United States providing military aid to Israel and humanitarian aid to Palestine.
While 31 percent of participants believe that their country “provided too much aid” to Israel.
72 percent of American adults are closely following the progress of the Israeli attacks on Gaza, which have continued since October 7.
