Two Israeli officers were killed and others wounded in battles in northern Gaza

The Israeli army announced - Thursday morning - that two officers were killed and two others were wounded in the ongoing battles with the Palestinian resistance in the northern Gaza Strip.

This brings the total number of Israeli army deaths since the start of its ground operation in Gaza on October 27 to 51.

The total number of deaths reached 370 soldiers and officers since the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on the 7th of last month and the war on Gaza, which is entering its 41st day.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced yesterday, Wednesday, that it had destroyed 11 Israeli vehicles - completely or partially - and killed and wounded Israeli soldiers on all fronts of the fighting in the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that they targeted an occupation army force east of Juhr al-Dik (eastern Gaza Strip) with anti-armor devices and another anti-personnel device.

While Israel said that it would continue its military operations until the "elimination" of Hamas, the occupation resistance vowed to turn Gaza into a graveyard for its soldiers.

For the 41st day, the occupation army is waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 11,000 Palestinian martyrs, most of them women and children, as well as about 30,000 injured, 70% of whom are children and women, according to official Palestinian sources.
