Israeli settlers force a family to leave their land in Bethlehem
Today, Wednesday, settlers at gunpoint forced a family to leave their land in the town of Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem, and seized the furniture, solar cells, and water tanks that were on it.
The director of the Office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority in Bethlehem Governorate, Hassan Barijiyah, told our correspondent that settlers forced the citizen, Mahmoud Hammad Jibril (60 years old), and his family, to leave their land in the “Al-Tabq” area, east of the Tuqu’a Wilderness.
Brejiya added that the settlers seized the furniture, solar cells, water tanks, and other livestock raising items that were on the land.
He pointed out that citizen Gabriel has lived in the aforementioned area for 20 years, and grazes his sheep there, as they are a source of livelihood for his family.
