The Israeli occupation army announced, on Monday evening, the killing of 5 soldiers from the elite "Nahal" Brigade, including an officer, during a battle in Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.
The army said in a statement that the same battle resulted in 8 soldiers being "seriously" injured.
The army explained that Captain Yair Yaakov Shoshan (23 years old) from Maalot-Tarshiha (a settlement in the north), commander of a group in the Nahal Brigade, was killed in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
In the same statement, the army published the names and information of 4 other soldiers who were killed in the same battle.
